Small correction to the map. SR60 actually connects to SR37 about 10 miles south of Bedford, not north of Bedford like is shown above.

If you're looking for an even more scenic ride consider taking route 37 across I-64 into Sulpher Springs and taking route 62 West then route 145 South which will then pick up at 37 again just about 10 miles north of Tell City. This side trip has some great curves, forested stretches and surprising hills and grade changes. About 40 miles later when you pick up with route 62 again after route 66 you'll have a deja vu moment since you've have made a loop of Perry County. You'll be hard pressed to find more miles of beautiful scenic road anywhere else in the state than in Perry County, I've tried them all.

Very nice ride. While traveling through Leavenworth on Highway 62 be sure to drive down the hill to the Old Town and have lunch @ The Dock on the river.

It's a shame to ride in a circle all the way around it and not go past to see the chainsaw garden between North of Milltown on 66.

This is a beautiful route to ride in summer or fall. We rode this on the last weekend of summer 2020 and it was fantastic. The ride from Bloomington to Tell City is just normal, but after you get on IN-66 out of Tell City the ride becomes amazing. Lots of curves and beautiful Indiana scenery. There are several "blind" curves where you really need to pay attention. Several of these curves are not for "novice" riders. There is one North of Derby that cuts back upon itself into an serious uphill hairpin that could be tricky. Loved the ride and look forward to doing it again when the leaves begin to change!
