This road can be very fun, but you must keep an eye out for others while riding on it. Living around this area, and riding this road quite often, I've seen numerous accidents involving motorcycles, and ATV's being hit by automobiles driving in the wrong lane. Just be careful.

As mentioned, not a road that I would go out of my way for, but a pretty decent 'connector road' to get down into Ohiopyle. You do have to watch out for other cars, and the road surface could be better. Want a scare? Ride this road at dark like I did... My god, not a street lamp for miles on this narrow~ish road and I was about ready to jump out of my skin.

Growing up in Dunbar, I beleive I overlooked the 'motorcycle road' feel for it. I still ride it every time I go see my parents and is a decent road. I concur that there are a few turns that sneak up on you (this coming from someone who has ridden it countless times) While I wouldn't go out of my way just to ride it, I would recommend it if you're in the area.

I am 38 and I have an R6 which I do drag knees when I can. This road has a little bit of everything; it is scenic, it has twists but is not super tight and technical, the hill climb is to die for, heed the other riders warnings because it is steep in places as you cascade from the ridge to valley. Enjoy and keep the shiny side up!
