Motorcycle Type : Cruiser

Rode this June 2014 from Newport to North Adams.
This would be one of the best rides around but unfortunately the road is now in really bad shape.
There are still some smooth sections but way too many bad sections.
Now i wish i had avoided it.

Have ridden this route countless times. Very nice VT. Country roads. Plenty of places to enjoy the views and grab some eats. Passes through old VT towns and has an over all nice flow. Best ridden spring and fall, summer time you may find that there are too many tourist driving about.

If they repave it, worth riding. The scenary of VT is very enjoyable, but the road ridden was in poor shape. Could not take a turn without wondering what the surface would be like..

Motorcycle Type : Enduro

I took this road from the north end of the state (Newport), coming back from Canada, to it's end in southern Vermont. What a great road that is always throwing up something nice. I did find the south portion more fun for curves etc... I did it in one day after leaving from Quebec City that morning. I didn't really do any site seeing along the way, but managed to go the distance in time to pitch my tent near Wilmington, VT and round up a nice dinner. I just wish it was closer to Ohio!
