I've ridden this loop with a friend from Santa Clarita, and it's a very cool ride. Elevation changes, twisties, various scenery, and good roads. Try it!

A good ride...but to make it a great one take Tepusquet and Foxen Cyn's off the 166 near the 101.

Beautiful in most parts, there's a few stretches on 166 and 33 that are pretty boring but for the most part the ride was great. 101-S on the coastline through Santa Barbara is always great and the twisties going up the mountain on 33 were a lot of fun. The road is in great condition throughout.

Be careful about rockslide debris, the road was closed down twice as I drove through with crews trying to clean up rock slides.

I haven't ridden this entire route, but 33 going from Ojai north to 166 is fantastic. Good road surfaces, very sparse traffic and good twisties. Then you bounce out of the twisties and the last bit of this leg just south of 166 is olive and pistachio farms.

Early morning ride while it was still cool. Beautiful scenery and plenty of places to stop to take it all in. Did receive a surprise with deer crossing the road, highly recommend as it is not high traffic.
