Motorcycle Type : Cruiser

I rode this loop with three other riders in June, 2012. It was a lovely ride with lots of curves. I would highly recommend it. My only caution would be, keep your tanks topped off, there were long stretches of the route where there was no gas stops or food stops. But I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat.

This, the Spencer to Mineral Wells part, was a pretty fun road. Not too much in the way of ups and downs, but lots of wiggling left and right. It has it's fair share of passing lanes, as well, to get around some of the slower folks. Certainly worth a look, if you're in the area. I have YouTube videos up of the route, one of them was put up in error, but the other is, indeed, WV 14. (The one with the red car is not WV 14.) Just rode this again - this time just from Parkersburg to Spencer - love this route and it's even better now - less road hazards/issues. Still have to watch. 7/3/21
