This route is wonderful. Like the original poster said, the road winds on top of ridge line for much of the way. The views are just beautiful, as you can see deep into the valleys. If you're coming from Falmouth, watch for the hairpin to the left about two miles in. It's the intersection with Straight Shoot Rd. It's well marked with a sign (15 mph turn), but it can be confusing, and I've seen an inexperienced rider total a Harley there.

We road west, Falmouth to Williamstown. Lots of twisties... what a fun ride! Pavement is in great shape! Did notice a couple of small rough patches on eastbound side. As author stated... not much time for scenery. This route rocks!

One of the best of the KY twisties, second only to the eastern stretch of 22 from Fallmouth to Brooksville. Some people call it the "Dragon"of KY but i prefer to call it "Wild Bill 22" for the favored six-gun of James Butler “Wild Bill” Hickok gunslinger of the west! Seriously, this is a very technical twisty which can challenge the most experienced of riders!
