This route sounds fabulous! Most especially if you care about history. Beautiful scenery, variety, and gem stops along the way.

Great ride. My favorite part is Chama to Antanito. If you are lucky, you can see the train. Ties in well wit 64 from Tres Piedras to Tierra Amarilla. Lots of elk, and other wildlife. Conejos river is beautiful, and loaded with trout. Will ride again.
